Kenneth Beck is a lifelong member of the New Orleans dance community.  He studied ballet and  performed for many years with Gayle Parmelee and the Loyola Ballet, and for a time with Ballet Hysell.

He has performed and choreographed in most every theatre venue in the city, including Le New Orleans Ballet Ensemble and the New Orleans Opera, set works for the UNO and Tulane University theatre departments, and has taught as a guest artist at Newcomb College and Loyola University.

Mr. Beck has taught at the Myra Mier School of Ballet for many years.  His work with the Jefferson Ballet Theatre has been recognized with a Big Easy Award for the Classical Arts.
